What do they supposedly offer?
Click2Sell is a self-service online marketing platform that provides its members with powerful, easy-to-use and unique tools for participating in the online advertising revolution and becoming successful online marketers.
So the basic idea is that you promote products or services for other businesses, through ad campaigns, because the businesses cannot run their own ad campaigns, they need you to do it. We have been in the affiliate marketing for a few years now and never heard of this business model. Must be brand new!
What do they really offer
What they really offer is lies. They set up some photos looking like ads in the client area, and you think you are promoting them. Then they show you some fake numbers to make you believe that you are actually making money. But the truth is that you are not promoting anything for anyone. Seeing this “profit” they will push you to deposit more money to run more expensive campaigns and hence make more money out of them. But this so called money, are just numbers on a screen. When you try to withdraw some, there is where the battle begins.
Withdrawing money
When you decide to withdraw any money for any reason, things will hit up quickly. The reason for that is because there is no money to withdraw other than your own deposit, because like we said everything is fake, there is no money making process behind this. They will come up with different excuses why you can’t withdraw your money right away. But also in this step you need to be very careful as they may try to squeeze the last money out of you. The common methods they do this include: having to pay a tax percentage before you can withdraw the profits, having to pay agent’s commission or attorney fees and having to pay the loan that you got from them in case you did get one. Do not fall for any of those and do not pay a single penny more because they will not return your money back.
Can u get your money back
Usually these scammers are well organized as this is relatively not a new niche. Nowadays they require people to make deposits through bitcoin, which is an untraceable currency and the payments are irreversible. So if you paid them with bitcoin or through a bitcoin exchange, your money is most likely gone. We know this might be hard for you to digest but that is the ugly truth. If you paid them through a wire transfer, there might be one or two loopholes, but that depends from case to case. The only thing you can do something about it is if you have deposited through a credit card. In this case you will need to contact the bank or the credit card company to ask for a chargeback. But you need to represent a good case because not all the banks will help you with the excuse that it was you who authorized the transaction.
Is there something you can do?
The best chance you have is to follow the money and report it to the police. Trace the money carefully to see where they went, and make sure to bring all the variables to the police. Sooner or later one of these scammers will get it. However, we must say that in the most cases the police will not do anything about it. The main reason is that these entities are scattered in different countries thus creating jurisdiction issues for the local police. Hopefully if there are a lot of reports they will pass the case to Interpol, Europol or even to the FBI.
Hiring chargeback companies
If you lost money with Click2Sell you are probably feeling very frustrated. The most important thing is not to feel ashamed because everyone becomes a scam victim at least once on their life. Second thing is not to make any rushed decision after that, take some days to calm down before proceeding further.

However, if you are planning on hiring a chargeback company, we recommend you to hire the most trustworthy company because there are a lot of fake companies out there who would just take your money and do nothing about it.
